Our finest Grechetto. Structured and elegant, straw yellow in colour with golden reflexes. Its delicate bouquet evokes white fruit and meadow flowers. Fresh and lively with a soft finish, in which almond notes, characteristic of this grape variety, are well-balanced.
Grown at an altitude of 400 m. Both grechetto clones G5 and G109 are grown in clay-rich soil at a density of 4000 plants per hectare, according to the guyot method. Production yield is around 8 tons per hectare.
Grapes are hand picked in the earliest hours of the day at sunrise and taken to the cellar where they are refrigerated for 24 hours in a cell. They are delicately de-stemmed to ensure they remain as intact as possible. Then they are cryomacerated for 16 hours at a low temperature, before being lightly pressed. The resulting must is fermented in steel barrels at a low temperature to conserve its aromas. After fermentation, it is left to age in steel barrels with its fine lees, until bottling.
In the bottle for at least 2 months.
